In the entertainment world, it’s typically that alchemical combination of both ingredients that winds up bringing together the kinds of players who make their mark on the industry.
Originally founded as The Perfect Asian Pear Productions by producer Aimee Ng, we eventually became Seafoam Pictures in 2016. Today, we're a film and television production firm driven by a talented team boasting nearly 40 years' worth of combined experience in acting, commercial, music video, dramatic short, indie production, and feature film directing.
From award-winning short film work to stunning video production and full-length features — including 2018’s Warning Shot with David Spade and James Earl Jones — we take friendly budgets and transform them into fantastic films.

Aimee Ng • Owner & Producer
Aimee Ng - Producer/Writer/Actor resides in Santa Monica, CA. Growing up in Kowloon, Hong Kong, she lived to perform. From her childhood “stage shows” to studying at the renowned Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, to her emergent role as an award-winning producer, Aimee has earned her place in the spotlight. Today, as president and producer of Seafoam Pictures, launched in 2016, she credits her success to the mantra that has underscored her life – Anything is Possible.
“Goals only seem impossible because we let fear or ego get in the way,” says Aimee. After a career debut including theatre and TV appearances, she jumped at the chance to star in and produce the 72-hour shootout short film Finding You in 2015. The drama premiered in New York and Los Angeles and garnered Best Actor, Best Director, and a Top Ten ranking from the Asian American Film Lab. A second short, Forgiveness, followed before the 2018 production of the full-length indie feature Warning Shot. Starring Tammy Blanchard, Guillermo Díaz, David Spade, James Earl Jones, and Bruce Dern.
With co-production of a second feature film — the faith-based This Day Forward — under her belt, Aimee concedes that a script must resonate with her to warrant consideration. She also admits to a love for the supernatural. Current projects include The Last Judgment, a psychological horror-thriller, The Harvest, a sci-fi thriller, and 61 Ash, a horror title inspired by true events. In a decidedly non-terrifying twist, Aimee is also a co-creator and writer of a TV series, Bounce, as well as an animated series with ties to her online baby clothing venture, Bamboo Baby.
Spero Dean Stamboulis • Producer
They say if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. For actor-turned-producer Spero Dean Stamboulis, this truism has defined 20-plus years spent bridging big-screen business with a penchant for people. Spero’s affinity for engaging individuals, telling stories, and connecting resources — “I didn’t realize the things I’d been doing all my life were a job!”— have led organically from his first love, acting, to a robust TV and film production career.
It was a chance encounter that first tempted Spero from the world of corporate finance and marketing to the entertainment industry. Walking from work one day, he was stopped and asked to audition for an MTV series. He not only got the part, but the break propelled him into nearly two decades of professional acting, including roles on Sex and the City, Days of Our Lives, and in the 2001 action film 15 Minutes. In 2006, he formed his own production company, SDS Pictures, and has since racked up credits on TV commercials, a series pilot and several feature films, most notably Clear Lake, WI, and the recent indie standout The Eyes (starring Nicholas Turturro, Vincent Pastore, and Megan West). He first partnered with Seafoam Pictures in 2018’s Warning Shot (starring David Spade, James Earl Jones, Bruce Dern, and Tammy Blanchard) and later on This Day Forward.
Along the way, Spero’s business background and ability to view the industry from different angles have fueled a native bend toward film finance, collaboration, distribution – and everything in between. He holds a business degree with a theatre minor from the University of Connecticut and completed MBA coursework at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Spero currently splits his time between New York and California.
Mark Rickard • Producer
Since forming the production and theatrical distribution company Creative Freedom in 2011, PGA-Producer Mark Rickard has produced five titles — the most notable being Red Wing, starring Glen Powell, Bill Paxton, Frances Fisher, and Executive Produced by film icons Terrence Malick and Edward R. Pressman. Additionally, his company developed the upcoming faith-based sports drama Run the Race, which was Executive Produced by Tim Tebow and is set for wide theatrical release through Paramount Pictures in 2018. Mr. Rickard also owns the genre-based production company Dark Red Films, which produced the psychological thriller House of Good and Evil for eOne Entertainment, and is in pre-production on the supernatural drama Southern Gothic. In addition to active development of several other films, he is currently working with illustrious Lord of the Rings producer Mark Ordesky to develop a big-screen adaptation of VURT — a sci-fi trilogy based on the Arthur C. Clarke Award-winning novel of the same name.
